Opening scene
The scene starts with a shot of a mirror in a darkened room. There is no sound and no characters. As the camera closes in at the mirror, the tint of a ghostly face can be seen. The face screams and the scene cuts to black.
Title screen/ credits
On the promenade, detective Bloggs is talking to her superior about a new case he wants her to take. He comments on how the circumstances of her mysterious death match with her previous supernatural experiences. As the conversation takes place, there are several flashes/close ups of things connected with the victims death: a glimpse of her corpse, a news headline, a shard of broken glass, etc...
The two colleagues separate; the superior leaves, leaving Rosemary staring out to sea.
